Trend graph sample

Postby ChrisK » Mon Jun 14, 2010 1:33 pm

We'd heard interest from a few people regarding how to do trend graphs and the like using Storyboard, so I whipped a sample for you to check out! This sample rolls a sin wave which can have its frequency/amplitude changed.

Just un-rar the archive and import the trend.gapp file into Storyboard to check it out.

I've used a lua function attached to a repeating timer to generate/move the trend data. The trend graph is rendered using the polygon render extension, so make sure you have the polygon plugin installed. Let us know if you have any questions!

Cool.

Slight nitpick:

Your Increase and Decrease Frequency buttons are mixed up.

The Increase Frequency button currently decreases frequency, while increasing wavelength.

Thanks Dave -- you are completely right :)

I'll change the text on the buttons and re-up it!
