Could not open Storyboard IO channel (cluster)

I am trying to follow the Communicate with your UI with Storyboard Connector video on the ClusterIO demo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0loHDCPokko). I start the simulator and then change slider values on the Connector panel to inject events, but as soon as I do, the message "Could not open Storyboard IO channel (cluster)" appears in a yellow box on the Connector panel and nothing happens in the simulator.

I've completely uninstalled, re-downloaded and reinstalled Storyboard Designer 5.2, and entered the evaluation license code. The problem remains. How do I correct this IO channel issue?

Thanks,

David

Hi dmknuth,

In order for the Storyboard Connector to send messages to your Storyboard Application, you must ensure that the channel name is the same in the Connector as it is in Storyboard Engine.

In the connector:

In your Storyboard Simulator Configurations:

Hopefully this helps. If you are still experiencing difficulties, please send us an email to support@cranksoftware.com and we will help you sort this out.

Cheers,
Mike

Perfect! That was my issue -- the channel names did not match. Thank you.
